PRIMARY DEPARTMENT

New pupils between ages 5 and 12 are admitted into primary 1-6 after they have successfully passed the verbal tests/interview administered by the school.

However, children from other schools are required to undergo a written assessment to ascertain their proper placement in the school. They may also be required to present their last academic result from their previous school. The assessment administered by the school would further inform the school about pupils who would need more attention. Pupils are assessed on Mathematics, English (reading) general paper and Verbal/Quantitative Reasoning.

The school offers all primary school subjects. These are Mathematics, English, Computer Studies, Basic Science, French, Music, Social Studies, Moral Education, Christian Religious Studies (C.R.S) and Agricultural Science.

In our Day care and Nursery classes, special attention is paid to developing and making use of the sense organs, organs for sight, touch, hearing and smell. Toilet training is also offered.

Special care is taken for the selection of appropriate educational materials to ensure safety and age-appropriate materials. These are used for early teaching of concept of colours, shapes, and sizes, sorting and counting. With the application of the play way method, learning is made easy for our babies.
